Instructors
Stephanie Hogan, Waynflete Academic Support Tutor, Psychology Faculty, Verbal Section Instructor
Stephanie enjoys coaching students on how to use specific and intentional strategies associated with the verbal section of the test to support time management, muscle memory, and decrease anxiety. She has assisted countless students for close to twenty years, beginning with boarding and day students at the Rumsey Hall School in Connecticut, to students living on Grand Cayman and preparing for standardized tests as they transitioned from international high schools to US colleges and universities, and most recently students from across Cumberland County.
Steve Withers, Waynflete Faculty, Math Section Instructor
Steve Withers works in the mathematics department at Waynflete, teaching Upper School math classes, as well as the electives Economics & American Capitalism and Personal Finance. Steve also serves as the head coach of the Waynflete Cross Country Team in the fall and the Waynflete Swim Team in the winter. This is Steve’s ninth year teaching at Waynflete. Prior to moving to Maine, he taught four years at a public high school in Pennsylvania.
