- Parent pickup location for all clinic attendees will be noted in welcome emails.
- Athletic clinic and camp start and end dates are noted below.
- All students must be registered to attend an athletic clinic or vacation camp.
- Payment in full is required at the time of registration.
- Clinics and camps are open to all students from the greater Portland area.
- Clinics are offered seasonally (fall, winter, and spring).
- If a clinic or camp is canceled due to low enrollment, we will notify registered families one week before the first class.

FEBRUARY BASKETBALL VACATION CAMP
Can’t get enough of basketball and looking to grow your game skills? Want to learn from the best and have fun doing it? Participants in grades 6–8 will join Andrew Leach, Waynflete Varsity Basketball Coach and Assistant Athletic Director, for this half-day February Break camp. Interested grade 5 participants will be considered on a case-by-case basis and should email Coach Leach for further information.
Coaches: Andrew Leach and Upper School varsity players
What to bring and wear: Students must change into basketball sneakers upon arrival and should wear clothes for active play (shorts and t-shirt are recommended). All campers will also need to bring a water bottle and snacks.
Camp dates and time: Tuesday 2/17–Friday 2/20, 9:00 a.m. to noon daily. Camp will not run on Monday 2/16 in observance of President’s Day.
Drop-off and pick-up information will be shared in a welcome email a week before camp begins.

WINTER LITTLE FLYERS YOUTH BASKETBALL CLINICS
Join our Athletic Director Ross Burdick and Upper School varsity basketball players for Little Flyers Youth Basketball this winter. Students will learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence and having fun! This winter participants will meet once a week for five weeks. The first half of each session will be focused on skills and drills, and the second half will be spent playing games. Our 2026 clinics are for students in grades 2–5.
Coaches: Ross Burdick, Andrew Leach, and Upper School varsity players
What to bring and wear: Students must change into basketball sneakers (PE sneakers are fine) and clothes for active play (shorts and t-shirt are recommended) when they arrive, as well as bring a water bottle and snacks.
Five Saturday Sessions: Waynflete students and students from the Greater Portland area in Grades 2–5 are welcome to register.
Times and dates: 9:00–10:00 a.m. on 12/6, 12/13, 1/10, 1/17, and 2/7
Drop-off and pick-up information will be shared in the welcome email from coaches prior to the first session date.

SPRING FLYERS RUNNING CLUB
Join Waynflete parents/guardians and volunteers for Flyers Running Club this spring! Students will learn form, technique, and endurance skills while building confidence and having fun! This clinic will conclude with a mini track meet to demonstrate what they have learned to their peers.
- K–1 students will work up to have a half-mile run!
- 2–3 students will work up to a 3/4-mile run!
- 4–5 students will work up to a mile-long run!
Coaches: Brian Corcoran, Jen Edwards, and Trish Higgins
What to bring/wear: Students must wear running sneakers, athletic clothing, and warm layers. They will also need a water bottle and a healthy snack each week.
Time: Groups will meet on Tuesdays from dismissal–4:45 p.m. for their four-week session.

- Session 4: Fore River Fields — the Mini Meet will end at 5:00 p.m.

Registration for our 2026 Youth Lacrosse Clinics will open in March 2026 —REGISTER
FALL YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY CLINICS
Students will learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence and having fun! Participants will meet for 3 sessions throughout the fall. On October 20, participants will have an opportunity to cheer on the Waynflete Middle School Field Hockey Team during the second half of their game followed by group skills and drills.
Girls and non-binary players in grades 3–5
Coaches: Trish Higgins and Rowena Schenck
What to bring/wear: Students must wear athletic clothing, and bring warm layers. They will also need a water bottle and a healthy snack each week.
Location: Hall Field, Waynflete Athletic Complex – Fore River Fields
Bus transportation is not provided for this clinic. Families are encouraged to carpool to the Fore River Fields. Coaches can assist with connecting families once registered.
