- Parent pickup location for all clinic attendees will be noted in a welcome email from the coaches.
- Workshop start and end dates are noted below.
- All students must be registered to attend an athletic clinic.
- Payment in full is required at the time of registration.
- Clinics are open to Waynflete and non-Waynflete students from the Greater Portland area.
- Clinics are offered seasonally (fall, winter, and spring).
- If a clinic is canceled due to low enrollment, we will notify registered families one week before the first class.

WINTER LITTLE FLYERS YOUTH BASKETBALL CLINICS
Join our Athletic Director Ross Burdick and Upper School varsity basketball players for Little Flyers Youth Basketball this winter. Students will learn the fundamentals of the game while building confidence and having fun! Sessions meet once a week for four weeks. The first half of each session will be focused on skills and drills, and the second half will be spent playing games.
Coaches: Ross Burdick, Upper School varsity players, and family volunteers
What to bring and wear: Students must wear basketball sneakers (PE sneakers are fine), a water bottle, and clothes for active play (shorts and t-shirt are recommended).
There will be three separate sessions depending on grade level:
- 4–5 (November 12, November 19, November 26, and December 3)
- 2–3 (December 10, December 17, January 7, and January 14)
- K–1 (January 21, January 28, February 4, and February 11)
Time: Groups will meet on Tuesdays from 3:30–4:30 p.m. for their four-week session (dates noted above).
Drop-off and pick-up: Students will be picked up by coaches from their classrooms at the end of the school day and brought to Sills. Families can pick up their child(ren) from Sills at 4:30 p.m. or from the Thomas House loop at 4:35 p.m. Students registered for Extended Day will be returned to the program after the clinic.
SPRING FLYERS YOUTH LACROSSE CLINICS
Boys and non-binary players in grades 4–6
Coach: Andrew Leach
Location: Hall Field (Fore River Campus)
Transportation: Students will travel by Waynflete bus to the Fore River Campus after dismissal on Wednesdays. Parents/guardians will pick up their child(ren) at the fields at 2:00 p.m. If your child needs to return to Extended Day after the clinic, bus transportation will be provided.
Equipment required: Waynflete has a limited amount of used equipment to loan. Please email Head Coach Andrew Leach at if you need to borrow equipment for these clinics (equipment listed below).

- Gloves
- Lunch, snacks, and a full water bottle
Days/times: Wednesdays from 12:30–2:00 p.m.
Girls and non-binary players in grades 4–6
Coach: Cathie Connors
Location: Hall Field, Fore River Campus
