Waynflete Connect makes it easy to capitalize on the benefits of being part of the extended Waynflete network.
Directory: Find old friends, make new connections—professional or personal—and network with other Waynflete alumni in similar (or different) fields.
Your profile: Make updates to your contact and employment information when they change, and share updates with the rest of the Waynflete alumni network about projects you’re currently involved in.
Jobs and opportunities: Find and share job openings and other opportunities such as internships.Knowledge sharing: Volunteer to be a mentor to other alumni or search for alumni who can help you with career advice and information.
Events: Find out about Waynflete alumni events occurring near you!
Messaging: Receive and send messages to other alumni through the platform, by email, or through LinkedIn or Facebook.Special interests: Follow or start a special interest page to bring together Waynflete alumni who have a common goal or interest.
Register here by creating a username and password (we suggest registering through LinkedIn, as it is the quickest and easiest). Follow the step-by-step instructions to add the relevant information to your profile. If you happen to register with an email address that we do not have in our records, we will need to approve your request to join manually (which we will do, just bear with us!). Once you’re registered, post a message to say hello and introduce yourself, upload photos, browse to find people you know, and invite other alumni by using the ‘invite alumni’ arrow on the upper right hand side of your screen.
It’s simple. Just follow these steps:
Step 1: Log into Waynflete Connect and click on the 'Me' tab (second tab on the left)
Step 2: In 'Me', click on the red arrow to the top right that says 'Update your profile'
Step 3: You are now on the profile page. The middle column lists your Waynflete details under 'My Waynflete Profile' - Country of origin, institution, Waynflete graduation year and ?. Using the drop-down arrows, update your college or university, graduation year, field of interest, and current location.
Step 4: After updating, click the dark grey 'Update' arrow in the My Waynflete Profile box.
Step 5: Click on the 'I'm done updating' grey arrow at the top right of the page to exit back to the home screen.Use the same step-by-step process to update your employment details, location, and any other information in your profile.
