Weatherspoon is a writer and poet from Cleveland, Ohio. They are responsible for the bestselling titles To, Too Many Children and Love Is The Future, The Future Is The End. They have performed at places such as The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and University Hospitals. They have also written poetry for opera music composed by Jessica Meyer and Jasmine Barnes performed by the Cleveland Orchestra in locations across the US including Severance Hall. Through that work, they have also had the honor of working with 22nd United States Poet Laureate Tracy K. Williams and the Bismuth String Quartet in Philadelphia. Weatherspoon is deeply committed to the power of language and using it as a form of creation and resistance.

Veeva Banga is a South Sudanese native who's been living in Portland, Maine since 2005. Her dance journey began at the age of 6, participating in traditional Zande dance in the South Sudanese community. She was immersed into dance locally by being selected to join Casco Bay Movers and PATHS while in high school where she studied hip hop, modern, and ballet. After graduation, Veeva returned to her roots and started practicing various forms of African dance. She has been awarded two artist residencies with Indigo Arts Alliance and the Rebel Grant fund for her “Dance For A Nonprofit” work. Veeva is passionate about sharing her cultural dance with others, and her mix of styles in Afro Beats offers a unique approach to dance education and the communal dance experience.
