Baseball / Tennis (full day)

Morning Baseball: Experienced coaches and high school baseball mentors will join young players of all levels on the baseball diamond for mornings of pitching, batting, baseball strategy, and plenty of fun. Players in grades K-4 will be divided into groups based on their level. Games or game simulations will be implemented based on the number and skill level of campers.

Afternoon Tennis: After a picnic lunch, full-day campers will move over to the tennis courts to learn all aspects of regulation tennis—including equipment, court dimensions, and scoring. Our coaches make learning the game of tennis accessible and fun for young tennis players. We will also make time for summer water fun to beat the heat!

Baseball Coach Bio: Steve Kautz joined the Waynflete faculty in the fall of 2003. He taught math and personal finance until the summer of 2016 when he moved to Spain with his family. Steve led the Waynflete Varsity Baseball program for ten years. Since moving to Spain, Steve has returned to Waynflete every summer as a Flyers Camp Coach and Program Director.

Tennis Coach Bio: Back by popular demand, Lisa Ford returns to lead the Flyers tennis camps again this summer! Lisa has been coaching Waynflete middle and high school tennis teams for five years. Throughout the school year, Lisa teaches classes and lessons as an assistant to the tennis pros at Apex Racket and Tennis Club. Lisa enjoys playing tennis year round as often as she can, and she is always happy to share her passion for the game with others.
