Grade 9 Trip

Students will spend four days in their seminar groups, getting to know one another and exploring this wild and pristine region of our state. All students will have the opportunity to hike, paddle a canoe, and learn map and compass skills. Evenings will be spent preparing meals together, sharing stories around a campfire, and reflecting on the day's experience.

Please review the information below to ensure your child is prepared for the trip. Please feel free to contact Blake Keogh (oe@waynflete.org) with any questions.

All medication must be given to trip leaders the morning of the trip. The medication must be in its original, labeled container and placed in a ziplock bag with precise instructions for administration.

Please contact our health coordinator if your son/daughter has any new health or dietary concerns since you filled out the health forms.

Gear

A complete gear list can be found on the Packing List Page. Please review it carefully and check that everything fits well. If you would like to borrow any gear, please let me know by filling out this online gear request. Please complete this as soon as possible to ensure we have gear on hand to loan.

Your son/daughter should also bring a lunch for Tuesday. No other food is necessary.
