2019 Schedule
Drop-off, September 3, 2019
A. 7:00am
- Boston Service Trip: Students meet at the Concord Coach Bus Station - the bus leaves at 7:15am.
B. 8:00am
- 9th Graders: Arrive on Fletcher Street and enter the gym through the back door!
- Bigelow Traverse, Mount Katahdin Hikers, and Canoeing: Students should be dropped off at the Fore River Fields where they will meet their Waynflete and Chewonki leaders.
- Note: A Waynflete faculty member will drive students who take the bus to school from the west end campus to the fields.
- All AMC Hikers: Students should be dropped off on Danforth St. and go to predetermined meeting locations.
- Stonington and Casco Bay Kayaking: Students should be dropped off on Emery St. and meet their leaders in the predetermined meeting location.
- Acadia National Park Biking: Students should be dropped off on Danforth Street between Emery and Storer.
- Local Service Trip: Students should be dropped off daily by 8:15am on Emery Street. Students should meet in Ben Mini’s room.
C. 12:00pm
- 12th Grade Trip: Departs from Emery Street.
Pick-up, September 6, 2019
All trips are expected to return by 2:00pm on Friday. However, there are often variables that expedite or delay the return of a particular group. Thus, in an effort to provide a more accurate pick-up timeframe we will update this section with specific times throughout Friday morning.

Note: Please do not leave campus without checking out with your OE leader and returning all borrowed gear to the third floor of Emery. Thanks!
9th Grade: The 9th graders will return to Danforth Street between Storer and Fletcher around 2:00 pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
AMC Presidential Traverse (N/S): Students will return around 1:15 pm (South) 2:10 (North) to Emery Street between Danforth and Storer. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
AMC Rattle River to Carter Hut: Students will return around 2:10 pm to Emery Street between Danforth and Storer. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
AMC Day Hiking: Students will return around 2:10 pm to Emery Street between Danforth and Storer. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Bigelow Traverse: Students will arrive at Danforth Street between Storer and Fletcher at about 1:00 pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Mount Katahdin: Students will arrive on campus around 2:00 pm between Storer Street and Fletcher Street. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Boston Service Trip: Due to limited space at the Hostel in Boston, this trip will return on Thursday night at 9:30. Trip leaders Lindsay Kaplan and Cathie Connors will share more specific details during OE meetings on August 26th.
Stonington Kayaking Trip: Students will return to Emery Street around 1:20 pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Casco Bay Kayaking Trip: Students will return to Emery Street by 2:00pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Acadia National Park Bike Trips: The bikers will return to Emery Street by 2:00pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and wait to be picked up.
Canoeing: Students will arrive on Danforth Street between Storer and Fletcher around 2:30 pm. After the initial street-side drop off, students will be directed to the Emery Building to contact parents and to wait to be picked up.
Note: Buses will be running on their regular schedule. Students who take the bus for school may do so for all OE drop-offs (arriving at Waynflete about 8:00 a.m.) and pick-ups (leaving Friday at 3:35 p.m.).
