Grade 8 Chinese - Living Maps

Hello, 8th grade Chinese students! Here are some great sources for your Living Maps project. All of your research will have to be done online, but you've used these databases before, so they should be familiar to you. That said, I'm happy to help so please email me if you get stuck or have a question. Good luck and have fun!

Databases - Remember to save any articles you use to your Drive!

  • Gale Virtual Reference Library - A database of reference books in ebook format. I've created a collection for this project, so scroll down and select that. This is a great place to begin your research. You'll find articles about your province and some tourist sites.
  • Gale in Context - For magazine and newspaper articles on specific sites. This Database also includes images, video, and audio.

When using these databases from home, you may be asked to login. You'll find a list of user names and passwords here.
