The Marjorie Robinson Thaxter Library is located in the Emery building, and serves students in grades 6 through 12.

Our Digital Library is open all summer long! Find our collection of ebooks and audiobooks anytime, anywhere on Sora! Download the app, or listen/read through a browser. If you need help logging in, email your librarians, Laurel or Emily.

Research in Context - Provides access to magazines, newspapers, and reference books for information on current events, the arts, science, history, government, health, and more.

Gale Virtual Reference Library -An ebook collection of specialized encyclopedias and other quality reference sources on a variety of subjects.

New York Times Archive - Full-text New York Times articles from 1851 to the present.

US History Collection - A comprehensive collection of periodicals supporting topics in U.S. History that contains 584,689 articles.

World Book Online - Includes World Book Early World of Learning, World Book Enciclopedia Estudiantil Hallazgos (a Spanish language version of World Book Encyclopedia), World Book Kids, and World Book Student.


READING

Use our library catalog to find books, audiobooks, and DVDs. You can search by a word or words, a title, an author's name, a subject, or even a series title. Please ask a librarian if you do not find what you are looking for!

  • Ebooks

Waynflete Digital Library is a collection of Overdrive ebooks selected by Waynflete librarians for Waynflete students. Log in by using your waynflete google ID as your username and your library number as your password. Contact a librarian if you need help logging in.

  • Maine Student Book Award Program

Maine Student Book Award - Students in 4th through 8th grade may participate in the MSBA program by reading at least three of the nominees. Voting takes place at the end of March, and the winner is announced in early April. Note that due to the close of schools, the 2020 voting deadline has been extended. A winner will be announced once voting has closed.
