Child Safety

The physical and emotional safety of each child at Waynflete is paramount. We believe that all members of our community have a role to play in ensuring that every child is able to grow up free of abuse and neglect.

Waynflete has extensive policies, procedures, and training in place to ensure that we provide the safest possible environment for children. We regularly practice drills at school to cover possible emergencies from fire to intruders on campus. Every Waynflete employee undergoes a criminal background check prior to beginning work at the school. Waynflete policy extends the legal mandatory reporting requirements to all employees. We report all suspected cases of child abuse and neglect to the appropriate state authorities.

We encourage all members of our community to report concerns about child abuse and neglect to the school administration and/or to the appropriate state authorities.
