Print will donate 20 percent of Waynflete community sales over the four-day Book Bash to our libraries. Just be sure to mention the school at checkout!

Thursday, December 5
Books and Bites! 7:00–9:00 p.m.
Join us at Print for Maine Beer Company beer, hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and surprise flash faculty story readings! Check out the great collection of staff and faculty favorite reads and enter the raffle to win some of these favorites. This is an adults-only event!
Friday, December 6
Students Write/Students Read, 6:00 p.m.
This is a student storytelling and poetry night! Invite your family and friends to come listen to Upper School students from each grade read original stories and perform published poems. You will be amazed at the talented writers we have in our midst!
Saturday, December 7
Figgy’s Cooking Inspirations from the Kitchen to the Woods, 2:00 p.m.
Calling all foodies! Join Waynflete parent and Food Network “Chopped” champion chef Figgy DiBenedetto for a talk about frenetic cooking, foraging, and fermenting. From her beginnings as an aspiring chef, to opening Figgy’s Takeout and Catering, Figgy will highlight the cookbooks that have inspired her along the way.
Sunday, December 8
Children’s Story Hour with Illustrator Matt Tavares, 11:00 a.m.
Join Maine author and illustrator Matt Tavares as he introduces Dasher, a brave little doe with a wish in her heart! Matt has illustrated and/or written over nineteen books and is the recipient of numerous awards and honors. His artwork has been widely exhibited in national museums. Please make a special trip downtown with the kids on Sunday for a reading with Matt!
All events held at Print: A Bookstore located at 273 Congress Street (near the intersection of Congress and India Streets). There is plenty of parking after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends—try the “Top of the Old Port” lot, Ocean Gateway garage, or any of the side streets off Washington Avenue or India Street.
