Four Days to Celebrate Reading
Shop for books between November 29 and December 2 at Print: A Bookstore in Portland’s East End and support your Waynflete libraries! Print will donate 20 percent of sales made to Waynflete patrons over the four-day book bash (just be sure to mention the school at checkout).

Join us at Print for Maine Beer Company beer, hors d’oeuvres, music, and surprise flash faculty story readings
featuring Divya Muralidhara and Lorry Stillman! Peruse the curated collection of staff and faculty favorite reads.
Friday, November 30
Poetry Out Loud Readings, 6:00 p.m.
Lend your ears to Upper School Poetry Out Loud students as they don black berets and recite their poems with fearless wit and candor.
Saturday, December 1
"Two Books to a Baker" 2:30 p.m.
Join Waynflete parent and Zu Bakery owner Barak Olins for a talk about all things bread and two books that deeply influenced his path as a baker. Bread tasting included! Cookbook recommendations will be on sale.
Sunday, December 2
Children’s Story Hour with illustrator Melissa Sweet, 2:00 p.m.
Book discussion and signing with Caldecott Honor-winning illustrator Melissa Sweet of Baabwaa & Wooliam (and many other titles). Make a special trip into town with the kids on Sunday!
All events held at Print: A Bookstore located at 273 Congress Street (near the intersection of Congress and India Streets). There is plenty of parking after 5:00 p.m. and on weekends—try the Top of the Old Port lot, Ocean Gateway garage, or any of the side streets off Washington Avenue or India Street.
