Each year the School and Parents Association organize a number of annual and special events.
Come and enjoy discussions led by Waynflete faculty and staff on books they have chosen. Gatherings are held in the Waynflete Library, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday Books is open to the entire Waynflete community.
Waynflete Book Bash: Five Days to Celebrate Reading
The Waynflete Friends of the Library sponsors an annual Book Fair. This year, Print, a bookstore located in Portland’s East End, is hosting a series of week-long events around the fair.

A wonderful annual tradition hosted by the Parents Association to thank Waynflete faculty and staff at the end of the school year for their dedication and efforts.

Waynflete Community Auction
Announcing Wintertide: a gathering of good cheer for the coldest time of year. This year’s community dinner, silent and live auction, and entertainment will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at Thompson’s Point in Portland to support Waynflete’s financial aid program.
Grandparents and Friends Day
Grandparents and Friends Day day is an annual school event held in early May. Guests are invited to spend the morning enjoying a reception, attending classes, touring the campus, and visiting the Gallery.
West End 5K
Each year, Waynflete hosts a 5K road race throughout the West End neighborhood of Portland. The certified 5K and Fun Run are for runners and walkers of all ages and abilities. The event, organized by parent volunteers of Waynflete School, is a fundraiser for the West End Mentoring Project which pairs Waynflete student mentors with students at nearby Reiche Elementary School.
Spring Fling is an annual event held in May. Families are invited to campus for a springtime carnival with games, live music, used books and clothing, an artisan fair, food, and more.Read more about Spring Fling 2018
