Grandparents and Friends Day: Friday, May 9
On Friday, May 9th from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, Waynflete grandparents and friends are invited to campus for a special program that will feature class visits, student performances, a reception, and a greeting from Head of School Mark Segar.

Summertime Fun Is Filling up Quickly
Summertime at Waynflete offers a range of exciting programs that incorporate the mission of our school, focusing on playful exploration in an engaging environment. These programs offer unique experiences for children, ages three to eighteen, who live and/or vacation in Maine. New programs for the 2008 season include: Kinder-Nature for children ages 3 to 5 and ActorFest for rising 6th through 9th graders.

A popular choice for many families, these camps include the arts, gymnastics, drama, musical theater, science, early childhood arts as well as sports camps such as basketball, lacrosse, soccer, recreation sports, running, and tennis. 4-5 Students Pursue Independent Projects
Following February break, students in Grades 4-5 students pursue Independent Projects (IPs), which requires them to research a specific topic, take notes, write report drafts, and produce a final product that consists of a written report, an oral presentation, and a visual aid. Through the IPs, students experience the research process from start to finish and create a final product for which they can take ownership. 
Friday's Girls Lacrosse Changes
Friday's freshman girls lacrosse game (vs Yarmouth) has been moved to 5:30 pm.  The JV girls will not play on Friday.  The varsity game will follow the freshman at 7:00 pm.  The bus will leave at 4:30 pm.
