The Waynflete Archives, located in Morrill House, hold over a hundred years of documents and photographs relating to the School's history. The archives are overseen by volunteer Margaret Soule, a member of the Waynflete class of 1959, with the guidance of a committee that includes Joan Bennert, former teacher in the Lower School, Anne Hewes Foden, class of 1954, and Lenny Brooks, a former Waynflete teacher and the director of the Shaker Museum and Shaker Library, Sabbathday Lake, Maine.
Margaret and Lenny are the authors of Celebrating Waynflete: One Hundred Years in the Life of a School. The project was made possible by a generous donation from the class of 1947.
Interested alumni, students, and friends of the School are invited to make an appointment to visit the archives by e-mailing archives@waynflete.org. Alumni are also encouraged to submit personal memories of Waynflete School on this quick form or by sending Waynflete photos and memorabilia to:
